Why are we screaming you ask? Well, the newest member of our household is rather vocal (taking after Aunt Sarah already). All too often, the decibel range in whatever room she is in will increase for no obvious reason other than the ring things in our exersaucer are super, super exciting. Or, it could be that the cat wandered by or even just that it seems that we have been abandoned when mom needed a bathroom break. I find myself saying, "Why are we screaming?" on a rather regular basis. In honor of said person (yes, Ella, I am talking about you), this blog is named for her favorite thing to do.
To all that we know and love, this is our way (we hope) to keep everyone up to date with what is going on with us as we embark on yet another new chapter in our lives (becoming parents this year was just not enough). I am hoping to update this about once a month, so sign up for updates if you would like to receive them.
It is absolutely amazing to me that Ella has been with us for seven months already and even more amazing how much she has changed. It has been a whirlwind to say the least and it is about to get windier with our pending move to Bismarck. We are going to miss all the things we love about California (an hour from Sonoma, our friends, San Francisco, did I mention Sonoma?, etc, etc, etc) but know that this new adventure will be an exciting one.
We will be homeless for the holidays, but we have lovely and gracious family and friends that have offered to out us up until we can get in to our apartment in January. The poor cat will be kenneled for a few weeks and my brother (who is moving with us) will be sleeping on our floor for a bit, but it is all going to be worth it in the end. Being closer to family (and free babysitting) is something we are all looking forward to.
